It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Henry Tompkins of Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 20, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid George Henry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For George Henry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Henry and Ethel Rutley Tompkins; his brother Richard Tompkins; and his brother-in-law Dan Clark. He is survived by: his wife Carol Adams Tompkins; and his siblings, Jeanne Fillmore (Tom), Sally Clark and Ralph Tompkins (Andrea). He is also survived by three nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pagano Funeral Home (3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA 19060). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
