He was predeceased by: his parents, Rawlings Tyson and Mary Tyson (Whiteman); his wife Marian Tyson (Ledger); and his brother Bill Tyson. He is survived by: his children, Ed Tyson Jr. (Carol), Michael Tyson (Filza) and Cathy Dube (Andre); his sister Louise Nowak; his grandchildren, Chris Tyson (Megan), Kevin Tyson (Courtney), Kyle Tyson (Kelsey Caratello), Michael Tyson Jr., Matthew Tyson (Samantha), Caroline Blake (Dan), Adam Powell, Ryan Powell and Tara Hrynczyszyn (Fred); and his great grandchildren, Christopher, Colin, Mary, Evelyn, Jolene, Dakota, Maverick, Patrick, Thomas, Olivia, Logan and Sophia.
