It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve E. Sphon of Bovard, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sphon and Anna Sphon; his brother John "Ike" Sphon; and his nephew Thomas Sphon. He is survived by: his brother Richard Sphon (Judy) of Painted Post, NY; his sibling's children, John Sphon (Donna) of Greensburg, James Sphon of Bovard, Ann Nicholson of Painted Post, NY, Susan Hoobler (Ray) of Horseheads, NY and Jennifer Corbey (Brian) of Charlottesville, VA.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor Sphon (Kait), Nate Sphon, Lucas Sphon (Maggie), Matt Hoobler (Bethany), Jake Hoobler (Kelsey), Quinn Nicholson, R. J. Corbey, Abby Joensen (Nick), Ana Jo Nicholson and CeCe Corbey; and also, Axel, Maverick, Miller Joensen, Ellie and Annie Sphon.
