She was predeceased by : her husband Stanley I. Sands; her parents, Henry L. Frey and Helen S. Frey (Swavely); her siblings, Russell A., Henry L., Richard C., Paul "Bing" Frey, Jean Endy, Rita Dancy, Patricia McHugh and Linda Lokey; and her granddaughter Lisa M. Sands.
She is survived by : her children, Donald S. Sands of Aurora, IL, Elaine L. (Charles C. Hess Sr.), Martha A. (Todd Mest) and Cathleen M. Sands (Christopher E. Faber) of Forest Hill, MD.; her siblings, Dennis W. Frey (Carole) and Barbara (Richard Spohn); her grandchildren, Joshua Hess, Peter (Nicole Hess), Andrew Hess, Troy Mest and Ashley; and her great grandchildren, Jayden Hess, Dylan Wannamaker and Zachery Hess.
