She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus E. Moyer and Dorothy R. Moyer (Rhoads); her daughter Samantha "Sammy" Melcher; and her brother Michael "Mikey" Moyer. She is survived by: her husband William C. Melcher of Boyertown; her son Zachary R. Melcher (Shannon); her granddaughters, Delaney and Briar Melcher; her brothers-in-law, James M. Melcher (Brenda) and Robert Melcher (Cindy); and her siblings, Cindy L. Melcher (Robert), Deborah D. Witman (William), Mary L. Mast (Gerald), Randy H. Moyer and Kevin W Moyer (Heather).
