David Hood Monroe Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 6, 2026, David Hood Monroe of Brackenridge, Pennsylvania, born in Waukesha, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, David shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Masten Monroe and Martha Madred Monroe Boyer. He is survived by: his children, Madeleine Monroe and Alexander Monroe; and his siblings, Marguerite Pivarnik, Dr. Thomas Monroe, Madred Slaker and Joseph Monroe.
