He was predeceased by: his mother Cindi Conaty; his stepfather Tom Conaty; and his father-in-law Mike Forys. He is survived by: his father Bruce Legg; his wife Kim Forys Legg; his sons, Ethan, Colin and Zachary Legg; his stepmother Eudonna Legg; his mother-in-law Lynn Chaffee Forys; his siblings, Jason Legg (Maggie), Sean Conaty, Sarah Snee (Dan), Madison Moyer (Ray) and Mason Legg (Gabriella); and his sisters-in-law, Kelly Donahue (Matt) and Kari Smith (Taylor). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Augustine's Church (295 Church Rd, Brackney, PA 18812). Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Montrose VFW (16972 PA-706, Montrose, PA 18801).
