He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Murrin (Heffren); his son Robert Murrin; his parents, John Murrin, Sr. and Jane Murrin (Cartwright); and his siblings, Kathleen Murray, Patrick Murrin, Timothy Murrin and Dennis Murrin.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Coyne (Thomas), John Murrin, Patricia Murrin and James Murrin; his grandchildren, Noah Coyne, Katelyn Coyne, Kristina Coyne, Tyler Coyne, Drake Buzzard, Alessa Buzzard, Alayna Murrin, Gwen Murrin and Clark Murrin; his great grandchild Ensley Murrin; and his brother Kevin Murrin (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. (201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church (245 Azalea Dr, Monroeville, PA 15146).
