He was predeceased by: his parents, Bailey Chancey and Jennie Chancey (Thomas); his wife Mary Chancey (Wilson); his son Robert Wilson Sr.; and his siblings, John Ellis Jackson, Charlie Thomas, Castleberry Reaves, Sylvester Chancey, Mattie L. Reaves, Ruby Kate Bates, Hattie Cook, Lillie Pearl Moore and Louise Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Clifford Chancey of Orlando, FL, Lillie Mae Chancey of Kennesaw, GA and Michael Chancey (Chalise) of Braddock, PA; his grandchildren, Stephenson Chancey of Toledo, OH, Ebony McAlister (Andre) of Atlanta, GA, Darren Chancey of London England, Dion Chancey, Cheree Chancey of Saginaw, MI, Anthony Chancey (Connie) of Dallas, TX, Patrick Menifee Sr. (Jasmine) of East Pittsburgh, PA, Robert Wilson Jr. (Lavera) of Richmond, VA, William Ferguson of Braddock, PA, Michael Chancey of Los Angeles, CA and Melodie Chancey of Braddock, PA; and his great grandchild Moriyah "Myra" Chancey. He is also survived by numerous other Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054). A burial was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at the Brookside Memorial Gardens (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054).
