He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Mary Bennett. He is survived by: his spouse Irona Mae Bennett (Ramer); his children, David L. Bennett, Jr. (Lori) of Schertz, TX and Brenda Moore of Bradford; his brothers, Charles Bennett of Franklin and Gary Bennett of Bradford; his grandchildren, Jessica Wright (Jesse), Katie Boser (Brian Chapman), Stefani Paschal (Mike), Emily Levitt (Eric) and Brandon Moore; his great grandchildren, Holden Chapman, Makenzie Northeimer, Oliver Chapman and Vesper Paschal; and his close friends, Ken Moore and Mallery Fay.
