He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Burns and Blanche Burns (Rich); his wife Norma L Burns (Puller); and his brother James R Burns. He is survived by: his children, Jim Burns (Betsy) of Bedford, VA and Lisa Gifford (Don) of Bradford; his grandchildren, Patrick Burns (Katherine), Katie Hurd (Ronnie), Jeffrey Burns (Katy), Mary Campbell (Ryan), Hannah Chaffee (Tod) and Benjamin Bean (Morgan); his great grandchildren, James, Charlotte Burns, Audrey Hurd, Henry Burns, Sahara, August, Lucy Campbell, Adeline, Kai and Silas Chaffee; and his brother Raymond Burns of Camarillo, CA..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the 7th Funeral Home South Ave.
Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the Bradford Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.
