He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Foster and Josephine Sammons Foster. He is survived by: his wife Justine Long Foster; his children, Michael Foster (Camcie) of Boulder, Dr. Patrick Foster (Electra) of State College, Sean Foster of Pittsburgh and Attorney Jonathan P. Foster, Jr. (Kristen) of Athens; his grandchildren, Alaan, Ridley, Athena, Astraea, Ares, Atlas, Natalie, Lauren, Sophia and Ethan; his siblings, Michael Foster (Terry) and Judith Foster Keough; his siblings-in-law, Jana and Dr. Vance Good; his nieces and nephews, Molly Foster (Dan Elliot), Susan Keough, Jackey Good (John Harned), Liam Foster, Shayne Good, Dan Keough and Josh Keough; and his goddaughter Theresa Ott Hayes (Russell).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Catholic Community of the Epiphany (304 S Elmer Ave, Sayre, PA 18840).
In lieu of flowers or donations, he would encourage you to gather family and friends and enjoy a night out together.
