She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank T. Palmer and Genevieve Palmer (Cappozzelli); her son Richard E. "Dickie" Austin; and her husband Oran R. Austin, Sr.. She is survived by : her former life partner Charles G. Bell; her children, Debra Austin-McCleary (late Pierce) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Oran R. Austin Jr. of Bradford; her stepchildren, Sandra Patchel (Frank) of Seven Valleys, Joan Bell of Bel Air, MD and Steven Bell (Katie) of Boulder, CO; and her siblings, Rose Harrington of Weston, FL and George Palmer of Albany, NY.
