With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Lawrence Schmitz of Brentwood, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 18, 2022 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Eugene "Gene" and Joanne Schmitz; and his brother Eric Schmitz. He is survived by: his sibling Glenn Schmitz (Kimberly); and his nieces and nephews, Gizella and Imogene. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
