She was predeceased by: her parents, William Houser and Mary Houser (Sparks). She is survived by: her husband Charles H. Shirk; her daughter Abby (Brad Winters) of Clay; her grandchildren, Megan, Brennan, Brett and Sarah; and her sister Pat (Tom Spitler). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
