Placida DiGenova Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 25, 2026, at the age of 85, Placida DiGenova of Bridgeport, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Bruno and Adelina Bruno (Cavallo); her husband Ernesto "Ernie" DiGenova; and her brother Donato Bruno (Gelsomina). She is survived by: her children, Salvatore "Sam" DiGenova (Karen), Ernesto "Ernie" DiGenova, Jr. (Frances) and Susanna Flocco (Tom); her grandchildren, Alex (Jennifer), Julia, Marissa, Mia, Matthew, Katie (Andrew) and Karlie; her great grandchild Logan; and her brother Frank Bruno (Andrea).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Placida's name to Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St. Bridgeport, PA 19405.
