Though Arlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Arlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Mielke and Ada Mary Mielke; her brother Walter C. Mielke, Jr. (Beatrice) of Lakeland, FL.; her sibling's children, Christine Arthur (James) of Avon and Dwight K. Mielke (Rebecca) of Sellersburg, Indiana; and her friend Diane Annis-Dixon (Larry).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc. (3552 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
