He is survived by: his children, David McCartney Jr. (Mindy), Rana Korintus (Daniel), Mark McCartney (Patricia) and Michael McCartney Sr. (Patricia); his grandchildren, Kristen Arnold (Bob), David McCartney III (Dottie), Joshua McCartney (Betty), Nick Korintus (Tara), Katy Merlo (Brian), Elizabeth Harris (Justin), Alex Korintus (Abby), Justin McCartney (Becca), Ryan McCartney (Emily) and Michael McCartney Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Joey, Grace, Theo, Emilia, Evan, Hazel, Gabriella and Maggie.

Viewing was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home (3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc. (3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017). A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melrose Cemetery (3064 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnels to Towers or Heartland Hospice.
