It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Diffenbacher of Brighton Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lehtonen and Bessie Lehtonen (Wilmot); her husband James Edward Diffenbacher; her siblings, Howard, Harvellon Lehtonen and Ruth Weldon; and her children, John R. Diffenbacher and Sandra J. Garman.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Beth Tress (Joe) of Brighton Township; her son-in-law Paul Garman; her grandchildren, Joshua Diffenbacher (Amanda), Kasey Diffenbacher, Erin Sovich (Glen), Stephanie Stuck (Michael), Emily Dunning (Mathew), Nicole Scott (Michael) and Anthony Tress (Shannon); her brother Carl Lehtonen (Barbara) of Mexico; and her sister-in-law Janet Lehtonen. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gerry's name to the Chippewa United Methodist Church or the Order of the Eastern Star.
