He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Howe and Genevieve I. Howe (Grove); his son Steven D. Howe; and his siblings, Margaret Kephart, Cathy Updike and Jesse Howe.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria J. Phillips; his son Robert A. "Tony" Howe (Mary Ann) of Brisbin, PA; his siblings, Delores Litzinger of Clearfield, PA, Ruby Clark (Raymond) of Philipsburg, PA, Sara Conaway (James) of Milesburg, PA, Russell Howe of Morann, PA and Walter Howe (Amy) of Osceola Mills, PA; and his grandchildren, Justin Howe, Alyssa Sunderland and Amanda Cowan (Zack).
