She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Winsler and Mary Winsler (Zentkovich) of Uniontown; her sister Margaret; her brother-in-law Steve Elek of Uniontown; her brother Steve Winsler Jr. of Uniontown; and her son-in-law Jonathan David of Schuylkill Haven.

She is survived by: her husband James Metts Sr.; her sister Helen Kurnava of Uniontown; her children, Angela David of Schuylkill Haven, James Metts Jr. of Bensalem and Christine Schoell (Steve) of Levittown; and her grandchildren, Amber, Lisa, Jonathan, Steven, Sarah, James and Daniel. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Women's Animal Center of Bensalem.
