He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Serrano and Julia Serrano (Santiago); and his sons, Jose Luis Serrano and Hilario Serrano. He is survived by: his wife Norma Soto Serrano; his children, Maria O'Brien, Iris Gonzalez (Taco), Alicia Salinas (Jose), Julie Trejo (Samuel), Diana Palacio (David) and Tony Serrano; and his grandchildren, Erik, Fernando, Priscila, Mireya, Araceli, Javier, Yesenia, Carmelo, Miguel, Tatiana, Pedro, Natalia and Romeo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.
