Harold D. Mitchener Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold D. Mitchener (Bristol, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harold D. Mitchener to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold G. Mitchener and Lutie Dodson Mitchener; his wife Carol Houser; his siblings, Eliza Mitchener, William Haines and Charles Haines; and his sister-in-law Lois Houser.
He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Keon (Richard); his siblings-in-law, Anne Haines and Dr. M. Kenneth Houser (Donna); his sibling's children, Brian Houser, Michelle Perkey (Mike), Dr. Kathy Haines Pederson (Roy), Tom Haines (Cathy), Donna Leduc (Michael), Carolyn Leonard (Steve) and Sandy Gallant (Ron); his godsons, Joshua Palmer, Jeremy Rogers and Jonathan Rogers; and his close friends, Dan, Mary Palmer, Tom, Sally Carter, L. J. Rogers, Frank, Robin Butrey, Jerry, Sharon Kline and Eugene Williams.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wade Funeral Home (1002 Radcliffe St, Bristol, PA 19007). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (201 Mulberry St, Bristol, PA 19007). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Bristol Cemetery (2633 Bristol Pike, Croydon, PA 19021).
