He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Stefanoni (Hawkes); his children, JoAnn Slack (Herbert), Louis Stefanoni (Donna) and Joseph Stefanoni Jr. (Sharon); his grandchildren, Kelly, Melissa, Michael, Nicole, Kristina and Kaitlyn; his great grandchildren, Brandon, Brianna, Finnian, Giuliana and Kingston; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia and Irene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
