He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cavanaugh and Eilleen Cavanaugh; his daughter Katherine Cavanaugh; his grandson Jared Gene Reid; and his brothers, Gene and Tom.
He is survived by: his children, Dean Cavanaugh (Andrea), Scott Cavanaugh, Aaron Cavanaugh and Dawn Cavanaugh (Kenneth); and his siblings, Margret Pendino (Ray) and Joseph (Marley). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
