He was predeceased by: his father James D. McIlwain. He is survived by: his wife Samantha; his children, Aubrie and Dylan; his mother Sybilla Russo; his brothers, James McIlwain (Megan Wagner) and Steve McIlwain; his mother-in-law Joyce Bartholomai; his brothers-in-law, Bill, Rob and Matt Bartholomai; and his siblings' children, Danielle McIlwain and Darren McIlwain.
