He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Reed and Alice Pontious Reed; his wife Rose Pusl; his son Tom "Frenchy" Reed; his sisters, Geneva and Mary; and his great grandchild Madelyn Shirey.
He is survived by : his pet Sadie; his daughter Shelley Shirey (Ed) of Ridgway, PA; his sister Norma Jean Snedden of Brandy Camp; and his grandchildren, Joshua Shirey (Amanda), Jeremy Shirey (Melissa), Brandi Aaron, Kirstie Sparks and Kathryn Shirey. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
