She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Eckert and Margaret Eckert (Hoh); her husband Norman S. Ruth; her siblings, John, Kathleen (Dee), Delores (Babe), Francis (Sue), Margaret (Peg) and Constance (Connie); and her goddaughter Bobbi Lou Galluzzi.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Iorfida (Denny), Bill (Jeff Umnitz) and John; her grandson Gino; her great grandchildren, Dominic, Sam and Anthony; her sister Betsy; and her goddaughter Sharon Gardiner.
