He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wrighter and Grace Smith Wrighter; his siblings, Ervin, Buddy Wrighter, Maxine Wrighter, Joann Anthony and Maggie Potempa; and his mother-in-law Beverly Dinger.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Shirey; his sons, Douglas Wrighter of Pittsburgh, PA, Nicholas Jared Wrighter of Brockport and Joshua Ervin Wrighter of Brockport; his aunt Lorraine Duttry of DuBois; his sibling's children, Kim Baughman (Rick), Kelly Berry (Bill), Brandy Giles, Vickie, Tate Anthony (Whitney) and John Giles; his grandchildren, Jade Wrighter and Ethan Wrighter; his father-in-law Melvin Shirey Jr. of Brookville; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Zents (Chris) of Brookville and Holly Fish (Steve) of Rockton, PA..
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. (1033 4th Ave, Brockway, PA 15824). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hahne Cancer Center 100 Hospital Avenue DuBois, Pa 15801; any Veterans Organization or to the charity of the donor's choice.
