He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Valent and Elizabeth Valent Jr. (Vash); and his brother Ted Valent. He is survived by: his wife Ada Weaver; and his sisters, Mary Sue Fry of Chardon and Valarie Macejko of Cleveland. He is also survived by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM.
