He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Esposito and Carmella Maria Provenzano Esposito; his siblings, Gerald, Theresa, Connie, Geraldine, Josephine, Francis, Anna, John and Patty; his grandson Daniel Bart; and his daughter-in-law Ashley Stang Esposito.

He is survived by: his children, Richele M. Esposito of DuBois, Richard J. Esposito Jr. (Dana) of Brockway, Kristi Ann Bart (Steve) of Woodstock, MD and John Francis Esposito of Enola, PA; his grandchildren, Andrew S. Bart (Monica), Christopher Bart (Tsuki), Nicholaus Bart (Heather), Jacob Bart (Kaitlyn Keffler), Cristina Esposito, Philip Esposito (Alecia), Julianna Esposito, Jarrett Esposito, Anthony Esposito (Aryanna Fink) and Ian Benjamin Bart; and his great grandchildren, Erin, Amelia Bart, Luna Lasky, Stevie, Frankie Esposito and Liliana Bart.
