It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aurora Cortez Watkins of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cruz Cortez and Antonia Quiroga Cortez; her siblings, Godfrey, Cruz Jr., Richard Cortez and Irene Quiroga; and her husband Harry Watkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Watkins (Lorine) of Newtown, CT and David Watkins (Jeannie) of Ridley Park, PA; her grandsons, Sean, Kyle, Zachary and Ryan; her pet Romeo; and her sister Mercedes Cortez of Galveston, TX..
