It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce M. Startzell of Brookville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her daughter Linda Ellis (Lee) of Beloit, OH; and her siblings, Rev. William West (Dixie) and Rev. Marilyn Sainsbury (James). She is survived by : her husband Rev. Loye Startzell; her children, Donald Startzell (Megan) of Highland, MD and Sharon Walton (Ronald) of French Creek, WV.; her sisters, Carol Gardner (Richard) and Cynthia O'Donnell (Richard); her grandchildren, Nicholas Mucklo, Jenna Putirka (Kody), Zachery Mucklo, Cody Walton (Rebekah) and Dusty Walton (Morgan); her great grandchildren, Lindy, Wrenly and Clement; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Holben (Richard) and Patricia Startzell (late Darl). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Brookville Evangelical Methodist Church (205 Jefferson St, Brookville, PA 15825).
