She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Bender Bachtell and Alfonza Earl Bachtell; her husband Alfred "Fred" Clarke; her siblings, Mary Kay Rightnour, Dr. Janice Bachtell and Patrick Bachtell; and her grandson Kristopher Clarke.
She is survived by: her sister Rhoda Booterbaugh; her children, Elizabeth C. (Beth), Fishel (Terry) of Gettysburg, Frederick P. Clarke (Janet) of Mountville, Janice R. Fapore (Mike) of Somerset and Amanda Clarke (Ramón Arrowsmith) of Phoenix, Arizona; and her grandchildren, David Clarke (Kristen), Daniel Clarke (Katie), Kathleen Fishel Salmon (John), Ellen Fishel, Patrick Fapore (Yolen) and Michaela Fapore (Daniel Watt). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
