It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ida McKenna of Broomall, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Frances Kelly Boyle; her son Lt. John H. McKenna (Jaqueline); her husband John J. Mckenna; and her son Charles E. McKenna. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Frances McKenna and Beth Smiley (Paul); her grandsons, Charles McKenna, Brian Mckenna (Topacio), John Smiley (Chelsea), David Smiley and Joseph Smiley (Jesenia); and her great grandchildren, Athena Maria McKenna and Atticus Jasper McKenna. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (220 Lawrence Rd, Broomall, PA 19008). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at the Peter and Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
