With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Giorla of Broomall, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 7, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy "Dolly" Giorla and Bernard John Giorla; and his brother Bernard "Bernie" Giorla. He is survived by: his wife Tina Marie Giorla; his children, Richard G. Giorla (Vera), Lisa Parker (Frank), Danielle Paterno (Bill) and Audrey Basile (Bill); his stepsons, James McDevitt (Judy), Christopher McDevitt (Cristina) and Matthew McDevitt (Stormie); his brother Ronald; and his sister-in-law Rita Giorla. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, his two great-grandchildren.
