She was predeceased by : her parents, Alphonso Palena and Valdora B. Palena; her brother Louis Palena (Margaret Rhodes); and her former life partner Clement W. Kell Jr. of Ridley Park. She is survived by : her daughter Elizabeth; her brothers, Raymond Palena (Diane) and Laurence Palena; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa, Raymond, Michael, Emily and Gregory.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Salvation Army or the Little Sisters of the Assumption in Philadelphia.
