He is survived by: his children, Paul Schonvisky (Karen (Eckman)) of Johnstown, Thomas Schonvisky (Theresa (Kennelley)) of Johnstown, David Schonvisky (Angela (Stolzer)) of Lawton, OK and Susan Schonvisky of Johnstown; his grandchildren, Shandel (Elias), Brittany (Bryan), Zakery (Tabitha), Kylee and Dylan; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Schonvisky (Victoria), John "Jack" Schonvisky Jr. and Jerry Schonvisky. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the F. G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. (710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA 15906). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (324 Chestnut St, Johnstown, PA 15906).
