He is survived by: his wife Sherry Kovachick; his children, Kristen Cavanaugh (Matthew), David Kovachick, Jr. (Tina) and Katlyn "Katie" Niehenke (Jay); his grandchildren, Andrew, Ellie Cavanaugh, Gianna Vessecchia and Bella Kapnicky; his sisters, Rosanna Ondrish (Bernie) and Dolores Kovachick; his sister-in-law Barb Kovachick; his siblings' children, Shawn Ondrish (Meghan), George Kovachick and Dawn Stankus (Brad); and his pets, Emmi and Otis.
