It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emil Stinger Sr. (Brownsville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip W. Stinger and Mildred Stinger (Diehl); and his siblings, Philip "Bill", Eli, Joseph "Joe", Walter, Cleota Grant, Ruth Prugh, Mildred "Vi" Novasel, Doris Wolfe, Mary Louise Pascale, Thelma Arneson, Clara Bohatch and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Stinger (Palaisa); his sons, Emil Stinger, Jr. (Tina) and Brian Stinger; his grandchildren, Eric, Jordan (Kaitlyn), Dylan (Taylor) and Lucas; his great grandchildren, Lennyn, Ellie and Baylen; his pet Jesse; his sister Wanda Field; and his friends, Harry Rutherford, Gary Patterson, Mike Crouch, Tony DeFabbo and Jess Parnell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
