He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold S. Barlett and Katherine Kribbs Barlett; his siblings, Alvin Barlett and Leanore Trares; his siblings-in-law, C. Jerry Brown, Richard Jordan and Sarah Barlett; and his son-in-law Michael B. Ritter.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey B. Barlett Masonry (Cyann) of Bruin; his wife Rosemary L. Young Barlett; his children, Cathy Ritter of O'Fallon, MO and Randy Barlett (Sandra) of Butler; his grandchildren, David, Brad, Kristina, Trisha and Ryan; and his sisters, Marilyn and Maxine of New Bethlehem. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora (339 Chicora Fenelton Rd, Chicora, PA 16025). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 6:45 PM at the Parker Allegheny Canby Masonic Lodge #521. The military honors was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:45 AM at the Chicora and Brady's Bend American Legion. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora (339 Chicora Fenelton Rd, Chicora, PA 16025).
