With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert J. Irving Sr. of Buckingham, Pennsylvania, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on March 10, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Florence E. Ryan Irving; his parents, Harry Irving and Phyllis M. Arata Irving; his children, Robert J. Irving, Jr. (Kathleen) of Bedminster, Kevin M. Irving (Donna) of Huntingdon Valley, Vicki Petroski (Michael) of Philadelphia and Russell J. Irving (Gina) of Plumsteadville; and his sister Elizabeth Higgins (Betty) of Warminster. He was also cherished by his 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to Chandler Hall Hospice Pavilion in Newtown if desired.

“With a heavy heart I send my sincere condolences to the Irving family. Life is not fair sometimes, but my memories of Bob and Floss (Bob's soulmate), are full of fun, happy times and friendship. Summer's at the shore (Wildwood) and Fernwood (in the mountains) and best of all, family life on Richton Road. A better neighbor I could never find and often wish I could go back, to those special days, just one more time. Irving family, hold fast to your memories of a wonderful man. Sandy Gallo”
