He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rommes and Alice Willhoyte Rommes; his wife Winifred "Winnie" Daley Rommes; his children, Brian, Becky and Betsy; and his brother Roy Rommes.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Smith (Harold) and John Rommes (Bev) of Bulger; his grandchildren, Chelsea Volle (Dustin), Chloe Jagarapu (Shabarish), Elizabeth Smith, Tyler Rommes and Luke Smith; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Colt and Collins Volle; his siblings-in-law, Dennis Daley (late Candy) and Jean Rommes; and his aunt Joan Roman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
