Domenico Michael Halulko Obituary

Domenico Michael (Dom) Halulko, our beloved son, brother, grandson, and nephew, left us all too soon on August 1, 2023, at the age of 21. Domenic was born on November 7, 2001, at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He lived in Burgettstown, PA, before moving to Aliquippa/Hopewell in 2005, and graduating from Hopewell High School in 2020.

Domenic had a profound love for music; his collection was quite diverse, and sometimes even eclectic, since he celebrated music from all genres, but his absolute passion was his collection and knowledge of 90's Alternative music and Grunge. Nobody could ever outperform Dom when it came to music trivia. Domenic had an artistic soul and was masterful in his talents of performing magic. Dom never left the house without at least one deck of cards in his pocket. On occasion, he would perform at children's parties and talent shows, and even volunteered his craft by visiting with folks in local retirement and care homes, just to put a smile on their faces. Domenic always had a very quick wit and found great enjoyment in telling jokes. "Lame dad jokes" were some of his favorites. Dom was a very caring, sweet, and kind-hearted person; he always found a way to make others laugh.

Domenic was blessed with such a large family and was loved by so many. We will never find a way to put to words what he means to us and what a gift it has been to have him in our lives.

Domenic leaves behind his loving and caring parents, Bryan and Heather Halulko, and Lisa and Chad Litzinger. We are so lost without you.

He leaves behind his little brothers Antonio 'Bear' and Santino 'Bean' Halulko; Dom will always and forever be their 'Big Boo,' and he will never leave their hearts. He leaves behind his younger brothers and sister, Jordan, Tyler, and Emma Litzinger. He was big brother to them all.

He leaves behind his loving grandparents, Donald 'Nono' and Barbara 'GiGi' Halulko, Pap Pap Gary and Grandma Carol DeMarchis, Carol 'Me-me' and Dan 'Pa-pa' Bobby, Sandy Mason, Bill and Susan Litzinger, and Great Grandma Joyce McCloud.

He leaves behind all his loving aunts and uncles, Aunt Anina Halulko and Uncle Kody Kubatka, Uncle Chris Dudik, Uncle Mike Mason, Aunt Cindy Mason, Aunt and Godmother Janel Mason-Cornell, Uncle and Godfather Chris Cornell, Aunt Shannen and Uncle Bryan Cornell, and Aunt Shannon Sughrue.

He leaves behind his cousins, Kamren Cornell and wife Mackenzy, Kylie Cornell, and Liam Kubatka, and so many great aunts, great uncles, and second cousins. Domenic had a special place in his heart for his great Aunt Beth and great Uncle Steve King and cherished making music and memories with cousins Stephen and Nathan. He gave us the pleasure and gift of making so many good memories at the family Hunting Camp with his Nono and his Great Uncles, Mike Halulko and Ray Nice, his Uncle Kevin and cousin Ayden Halulko, and when he was cuddled-up with GiGi by the cabin campfire.

Domenic could always be found snuggling on the couch with our beloved Chocolate Lab, Daisy, who will also miss him ever so dearly. As a boy and his dog should be, they were inseparable.

Domenic was preceded in death by his paternal great grandmother, Noni Halulko, whom he loved with all his heart, his maternal grandfather, Michael Mason, his dear cousin Ray Nice, with whom he shared so many artistic interests, and his beloved family dog, Carmel.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Domenic at a future date, and we will ask everyone to bring their best memories to share; they will be plentiful. Our families wish to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayers and support as we navigate through this unthinkably difficult time in our lives. We pray that God bestows the strength and wisdom for us to all move forward, and someday, find peace.

Chad Litzinger lit a candle

“Dom, I met you when you were only 5 years old. Over the years, we had a lot of memories. One of my favorites will always be watching WWE wrestling with you. While I was not a fan, your knowledge and excitement about it made it fun to watch. And music, nobody came close to your knowledge of all types of music, and the bands behind them. I will miss you so much, Dom. Rest in peace. In loving memory of Domenico Michael Halulko, Someone so special will not be forgotten.”
