He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Esno (Suica) and Peter Esno; his parents-in-law, Harry and Mariann Lewis; and his siblings-in-law, Harrison Lewis and Sharon Esno.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Lewis); his children, Jennifer Esno (Tony) and David (Maria); his grandchildren, Madeleine and Christopher; his brother Stanley Esno; his nieces, Stacie Brown (Peter) and Sonia Bertovich (Frank); and his nephew Stanley Esno. He is also survived by many cousins, Phil leaves behind numerous friends.
