He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Lawrence and Evelyn Ora Murphy Peterson. He is survived by : his girlfriend JoAnne Bokulich of Midway; his sister Shirley McIlvried of Allison Park; his nieces and nephews, Howard McIlvried (Paula), Heather Himmelburger (Lance), Brenda Keck (Kevin), Bonnie Wysocki, Robb McIlvried (Mary) and Cyndi Georgetti (Tom) of Avella; his sister Carolyn Wysocki; his brothers-in-law, Bernard Wysocki and Howard McIlvried; and his nephews, Bernard Wysocki Jr. and Timothy McIlvried. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Avella Volunteer Fire Department or the American Cancer Society.
