He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent I. Rhodes and J. A. "Maxine" Rhodes (Stewart); and his wife Gail I. Rhodes (Yarevitz). He is survived by: his son David S. Rhodes of Burnham; his granddaughter Erin Vrabel (Ryan) of McAlisterville; his great grandchildren, Hayden J. and Quinn K. Vrabel; and his siblings, Robert Rhodes (Cheryl) of Linglestown and Paula Rhodes Bisbey (Patrick) of State College. He is also survived by two nephews, three nieces.
