He was predeceased by: his parents, Athanasios Liakos and Vasiliki Liakos. He is survived by: his wife Irene (Kialas); his son Athanasios "Tom" Apostolos Liakos (Alyona); and his grandchildren, Daniel Paul Liakos and Anabela Sophia Liakos.
