He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin J. McLaughlin and Dorothy McLaughlin; and his sibling Thomas McLaughlin. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Apgood (Greg), Brian McLaughlin and Nicholas McLaughlin; and his siblings, Christina McLaughlin (Laura Szatny), Cornelius McLaughlin and John Joseph McLaughlin (Bernadette). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
