He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Heider and Marie Heider (Timko); his brother Nicholas Heider; and his nephew Nicholas Heider. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Heider (Sheppeck); his children, Diana Heider of Butler, Carrie Catalano (Thomas) of Gibsonia, Melinda Heider of Erie and Feller Heider (Julie) of Butler; his grandchildren, Lydia, Cameron Matteoni, Benjamin, Abigail Heasley, Jack and Thomas Catalano; his sisters, Marianne Rockhill (Ernest) of Florida and Elena Gomola (Daniel) of Butler; and his sister-in-law Teddi Heider.

Donations may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Foodbank, 146 North Monroe Street, Butler, PA 16001.
